Leadership Team Photography for Broker in London
The photography shown here took place in September 2020 between UK lockdowns.
The brief was to generate headshots of the leadership team for this London broker.
All the photography was originally taken in colour on digital cameras but then afterwards converted to black and white ready for use on the client’s website.
The key factor in this leadership team photo shoot was logistics, there were a lot of people to be photographed in one day, so I needed to achieve consistency. I used Elinchrom flash, but instead of my trusty ELB400 battery powered power pack I went for the studio style mains powered flash heads to avoid any battery drain issues over a whole day of headshot photography. All equipment was set to manual, to ensure that every image was uniform in lighting, contrast and shadow. I then just had to get the right expression from each and every member of staff, and that is the hard bit! The last person on the day has to be greeted and posed as enthusiastically as the first, to make sure the expression is right. So when taken as a whole, all the images look approachable, friendly yet competent.
