These new photographs were taken to appear on the private equity company’s website.
The corporate headshots London were taken against a plain background using Elinchrom studio lighting, and then subsequently ‘cut out’ in Photoshop for the company. This approach means that the pictures can be used on the company’s previously taken background images of their office, this provides a consistent look and feel.
Piranha has taken many office background images which can be used when blurred as a backdrop. All of these backgrounds are photographed sharp and then blurred later to achieve the look required by the client, some want an abstract feel, like this company, others prefer a very gentle blur.
The advantage of this digital technique is that the subject is stored as a Photoshop layer so that the backgrounds can be changed easily at any time to achieve a very different look, from formal to informal.
