We wish you a very Happy Easter from everyone at Piranha Photography<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For large consumer brands, Easter marks the first major opportunity since the Christmas holidays to promote their goods and services. It is one of four key sales seasons in the UK calendar, generating over \u00a32 billion in consumer spending.<\/p>\n

These days, it\u2019s not just big businesses that are highly brand aware. As part of our Easter celebrations, we are featuring three smaller Oxford-based clients who commissioned our photography to help promote their brands.<\/p>\n

The Charitable Chef<\/h3>\n

The Charitable Chef is a not-for-profit food service organisation run by Naomi Hargreaves, a professional chef who caters for private lunch parties, picnics, christenings, afternoon teas, freezer filling or anything else her customers need in West Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire. All the profits from Naomi\u2019s services are donated to a chosen charity, which this year is the Winchester branch of the Samaritans.<\/p>\n

Articulate Oxford<\/h3>\n

Articulate Oxford while based in Oxford works nationally and internationally with academics, professionals and business people to help them develop their public speaking abilities. The business was founded by Tessa Rea who has 30 years\u2019 experience in legal advocacy and the teaching profession. Tessa has distilled the essentials of confident spoken communication into tailored training programmes, enabling her clients to develop their \u2018natural voice\u2019 and speak with greater clarity and impact.<\/p>\n

Top Tips for Brand Photography<\/h2>\n

Most smaller organisations depend heavily on the experience and personal appeal of their founders to drive their brand marketing.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s therefore essential that our photographs capture the founders at their best, projecting an image that is both professional and approachable. Ultimately, the images need to show the founder is trustworthy and dependable, and a good person to work with.<\/p>\n

Where the photographs are taken naturally plays a key role in selling brand messages, be it a beautiful kitchen, garden or the familiar stately walls of an Oxford college.<\/p>\n

While these settings might be naturally photogenic, they and the subjects will still need to be sensitively lit and the images carefully composed, as will the use of any props photographed during the session, which must be in good condition and also well chosen.<\/p>\n

We are mindful that our images will need to work on a variety of media including websites, social media and LinkedIn accounts, and in printed materials. During a photo shoot we will aim to create for the client a library of appealing images.<\/p>\n

However, during the shoot we will be looking for \u2018perfect shot\u2019 that communicates the essence of the brand and its founder, reducing the need for explanatory text.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
